How Do I Define My Editing Style?
I like to think of my editing style as "Light & Airy" with a splash of "True to Color". I edit to achieve those softer yellows and greens in scenery, with elegant and timeless whites and neutrals.
What does this mean for your wardrobe?
What I have found works best with this particular editing style are those stunning pastels, neutrals, whites, and greys.
Individuals who want those timeless, light, and sparkling images try to match their wardrobe to the editing style; the photographs just look better that way.

Posing Styles
I would define my posing style as a good, healthy mix of posed with candid.
This is especially true when working with young kids and families. Children rarely want to sit for a posed shot for more than a minute. I try to start out the shoot with a few arranged/posed photos that Mom and Grandma might want for their portrait walls, but ultimately, I want the kids to have just as much fun as me! I like to ask them what they would like to do and then let them. I'll give Mom and Dad some direction to help with composition, but then I'll just snap away while you and your kids make some cherished memories.
With my background in education and stage direction, I have found that I am adequately prepared to capture both movement and moments of stillness in your photographs. Even couples without kids will find that I still like to incorporate games, movement, and dance in my "posing". I've even been known to just turn on some music and capture whatever you and your companion feel you want to do in that moment. I have been honored to capture some of the most sincere and intimate moments between spouses this way. I have found that only a soulmate can bring out the truest of smiles from their partners; and I have learned to utilize and cherish that.
