Some of my favorite photos come from when I step into my director's mindset and out of the still shot phase. Yes, I do pose because everyone loves a good "hang on the wall at Grandma's house" shot. But my favorites are when I present an activity, game, or moment and I keep my camera ready for those lovely memories that just leap out of organic moments.
